For this project we created a font poster. Bodoni has been one of the most inspiring fonts for many designers, widely used for magazines and typographic designs.

Bodoni has very distinctive weight variations.  Compared with other typefaces, the
thick and thin stroke lines are just beautiful.

While creating this poster i was able to explore designs in black and white as well as different letter formats. Some of my design ideas are shown below.

After the exploration then finally I could digitally sketch them.
When learning about the gaze of the eyes I discovered this website that will analyze your designs and give you a heatmap for where the expected focus is. http://vas.3m.com
Designing this poster turned out to be very difficult because I realized that Bodoni font has so many ways to execute a beautiful poster that if there is a no clear concept, it's hard to think of a layout that works.

After choosing different layouts in black and white I played around with different color schemes and variation.

The first design I chose was a symmetrical design split in half.  I learned based on instructor feedback that this design does not push someone to stay in the entire design so there are things that might be missed.

I went back to the designs that I had worked on previously and did some more color experimenting on some other designs.
This is the final Design I presented
